About Executive Chef John “Jack” McGinn
A part of the Fifth Group Restaurants family since 2012, Chef McGinn brings two decades of industry experience to The Original El Taco. As executive chef, McGinn oversees menu planning, creation and management with a creative and industrious approach to El Taco’s elevated Mexican cuisine. McGinn’s interest in all things culinary began at his first job as a dishwasher at the age of 14. He was enamored with the pace, culture and people of the restaurant industry and knew he wanted to make cooking a career. Throughout his career, McGinn has worked in a number of esteemed Atlanta restaurants in various capacities.
